Overview
Supervisor - Admitting - Full Time 8 Hour Variable Shift (Exempt)(Non Union)
Locations:
Glendale, CA
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of Patient Access Representatives.
- Ensure optimal performance in registration accuracy, collections, productivity, and quality.
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and collaboration with the Senior Manager/Manager to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Serve as acting manager in the absence of the manager and be available for on-call duties and variable shifts as needed for business operations.
- Minimum Education:
High school graduate or equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. - Minimum Experience/Knowledge:
Three years experience in a Hospital Admitting Department; one to two years in a lead or supervisor role in patient access. - Required License/Certification: AB 508 Certification. If no card upon hire, obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer and maintain by renewal before expiration date.
