As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to psychiatric patients. Your role includes implementing and evaluating care plans, performing assigned tasks, and collaborating with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will:
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to psychiatric patients
- Implement and evaluate care plans
- Perform assigned tasks and collaborate with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being
We have the following position available:
- Licensed Psychiatric Technician - Float Team, Per Diem
- Sr. Licensed Psychiatric Technician - Older Adult Psych, Full Time
- Sr. Licensed Psychiatric Technician - Child/Adolescent Psych, Full Time
- Licensed Psychiatric Technician - Emergency Department, Full Time
Salary Range: $30.67 - $47.94/Hourly
QualificationsWe’re seeking highly-skilled, self-motivated professionals with:
- At least 6 months experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting or equivalent required
- California Psychiatric Technician Licensure required
- BLS required
- Knowledge of psychological functioning and deviations from normal
- Knowledge of growth and development throughout the life span
- Knowledge of techniques of therapeutic communication
- Knowledge of Drug administration
- Knowledge of management of assaultive behavior
- Knowledge of evacuation, fire and disaster procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA
