Job Summary
Reporting to the Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) Program Manager under the Health Center Operations and Transformation (HCOT) Division, the HCCN Project Coordinator supports the completion of project activities as described in the HCCN Work Plan.
LocationCandidates must reside in one of the following Southern California counties:
Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, San Luis Obispo, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Imperial.

Job DutiesAssist The HCCN Program Manager in collecting and reviewing HCCN project deliverables from HCCN service partner consultants.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in health neeguerally technology field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in project management or coordination.
- Background and expertise in meeting facilitation and training.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the Los Angeles County health care system preferred.
- Knowledge of community health centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic health record platforms used by Los Angeles County health centers (e.g., eClinical
Works, Next Gen, EPIC, Athena One, Greenway Intergy) preferred. - Working knowledge of current health technology concepts and priorities preferred, including:
- Data management & analytics
- Health IT cybersecurity/patient privacy issues
- Data interoperability through health information exchange (HIE) platforms
- Data modernization through the implementation of Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR) applications in health center data systems
- Collection of and acting upon patient health‑related needs data
- Patient engagement using digital health tools (e.g., patient portals/messaging systems, telehealth, and remote patient monitoring devices)
- Artificial intelligence (AI) governance policy and implementation in community health centers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
