Caregiver​/CNA

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate female In-Home Caregiver to provide dedicated support to a client with dementia in the Los Angeles area. The caregiver will play a vital role in ensuring the client’s comfort, safety, and independence while maintaining a warm and respectful home environment.

• Assist with Alzheimer's/dementia care, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote a positive and reassuring environment.
• Prepare nutritious meals that meet dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean and safe living space.
• Support mobility and assist with transfer techniques.
• Administer and remind about medications, monitor health status, and report changes to appropriate personnel.
• Document care activities and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Implement fall‑prevention and safety protocols.

• Are you a Live Scan?

• Do you have experience caring for someone with Alzheimer's?
• Do you have experience with the gait belt?

• Experience in in‑home caregiving, geriatrics, or dementia care preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Empathetic, patient, with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• CPR/First Aid certification desirable but not required.
• Ability to perform light cleaning duties and adhere to proper lifting techniques.
• Knowledge of home community care practices beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation optional.

• Job Type: Part‑time / On‑call
• Pay: $20.00 – $22.50 per hour

  28–30 hours per week (Sundays to Saturdays, shifts 9 am–1 pm, 1 pm–5 pm, 5 pm–11 pm)

  Los Angeles, CA (Northridge, Granada Hills, North Hills, Sylmar, Porter Ranch and surrounding areas)
