This is a hybrid position based in Century City, CA. Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles Metro area.
The pay range for this role is between $71,494-$82,219 annually.

As the Crisis Referral Resource Coordinator, you will partner with the Assistant Program Director, Crisis Line Operations and staff of the Suicide Prevention Center crisis line team to expand, organize, verify and modernize the tools and resources our crisis line staff use when providing services to help-seekers. This role requires attention to detail; professionalism and initiative to engage with provider agencies to validate, document and understand services;
a strong sense of collaboration across departments within Didi Hirsch, with statewide agencies, and with other CA 988 centers; and a commitment to navigate technological barriers that may exist in the organization and exporting of referral resource listing information with statewide crisis referral information platforms.
- Conduct systematic evaluation of existing crisis line referral resources and database structure with resulting report recommendations for improvements made to Assistant Program Director, as well as Crisis Line clinical and Operational leadership.
- Develop process for tracking and reporting utilization of current resources by crisis line staff.
- Partner with the Research and Evaluation Department to establish process for identifying help-seeker disposition or demographic trends that inform opportunities to expand crisis referral resources.
- Independently identify through leads and deliver formal recommendations for new partnership needs to the Training and Community Outreach division to expand resource base.
- Assess and frequently update Didi Hirsch s Intranet resources and information specifically related to the Suicide Prevention Center (SPC) Crisis Line.
- Create and disseminate monthly, highly focused resource newsletters for crisis line staff to increase counselor awareness of tools, tip-sheets, and referral partners.
- Serve as primary point of contact with the statewide administrator for 988 in relation quarterly 988 Crisis Line contract deliverables related to the uploading of relevant Didi Hirsch referral resources into a statewide 988 referral database. Exercises autonomous authority over referral resource standards, inclusion criteria, and submission approval for statewide 988 databases.
- Support the efforts of Didi Hirsch s SAMHSA 988 Tribal Response subcontract and our organization s Tribal Communities Outreach Manager by building ongoing collaborative relationships with other CA988 centers, tribal health departments and other behavioral health organizations for the purpose of expanding and sharing crisis referral resources that support American Indian and Alaska Native populations.
- Attend, participate, lead and/or facilitate routinely scheduled meetings as requested or required for the program, division, or Agency.
- Interface with related community agencies representing Didi Hirsch, and attend meetings as scheduled and/or needed to include regional Suicide Prevention Coalition, state and national 988-focused, key performance indicator, and infrastructure meetings.
- Responsible for assigned key performance indicators.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, addressing challenges where appropriate, and driving performance to achieve organizational objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain organizational policies and standards governing crisis referral resources, data integrity, and interdepartmental and interagency partnerships.
- Accountable for statewide referral resource strategy outcomes, data quality, and alignment.
- Regularly brief leadership and recommend organizational direction based on independent analysis.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of a bachelor s degree or 4 years of project management experience is required.
- Direct experience working on or supporting mental health crisis lines is strongly preferred.
- Advanced analytical and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrate highly effective and professional communication skills that will represent Didi Hirsch well to external agencies.
- Ability to clearly present ideas, information, and viewpoints clearly, both verbally and in writing.
