Overview

Sterile Processing Technician – Full-time Night shift at Providence Health & Services, Tarzana, CA.

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center – Tarzana. This position is full-time and will work an 8-hour Night Shift.

Reporting to the SPD Manager, this position receives and processes incoming supplies, instrumentation and equipment; performs cleaning and sterilizing duties; and prepares packs of supplies, linens, and instruments in SPD as directed.

Required qualifications:

• Graduate from Instrument Tech or Surgery Tech training program.
• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire; or
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year Instrument Tech or Surgery Tech experience within an acute care facility.
