Busy Dermatology office seeking experienced Medical Assistant for front/back office.

Candidates MUST have Dermatology Medical Office experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Preparing patients for examinations – including taking patient history
• Assisting with cosmetic/laser and surgical procedures, including Mohs
• Cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing instruments and equipment for various procedures
• Preparing lab specimens
• Maintaining rooms – including stocking and cleaning
• Managing calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies
• Facials, peels, acne treatments

• Taking phone calls
• Managing patient appointments
• Collecting patient payments at checkout
• Coordinating patient care with other offices
• Filing paperwork, charts
• Assisting physicians with prescriptions

NO new graduates will be interviewed. Dermatology Office experience is highly important.
