Overview

Medical Laboratory Scientist-Clinical Laboratory at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is per-diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

• Performs routine laboratory testing and analysis that require well-developed cognitive, manipulative and problem-solving skills for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Operates test equipment, monitors the quality of testing, and verifies and reports test results.
• Performs more complex test procedures in one or more sections.
• May be responsible for the technical supervision of a specific section of a shift in the absence of the Clinical Specialist and Technologist III.

• Sufficient for license.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License upon hire.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - required within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Base pay range may be supplemented by shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
