Assignment length- 13 weeks

12 Cath Lab unit with 3 labs being Electrophysiology. Busy department, part of Cardiology program that has been rated by US News and World Report as 2nd best in the country. Roughly 8000 patients and 12,000 procedures done per year. Focus will mainly be on Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, Endomyocardial Biopsy, PCI, Atherectomy, Balloon Pump Placement, Peripheral Cases, Impella insertion.

Possibility to work Structural cases such as TAVR, TEER, LAAO, TMVR, TTVR, if experienced in these areas. Depending on the type of cases scheduled in the rooms, each room can do 3-6 cases per day. There are 9 Cardiac Cath Lab Rooms and 3 EP rooms (this assignment is not for EP cases.

Equipment:
Rotapro atherectomy, CSI Atherectomy, Philips and Boston Scientific IVUS systems, Impella, Cardio Save Balloon Pumps

Educational Requirements:

• Associate Degree.

• CA RT License and CA Fluoro License
• BLS
• Preferred: ACLS
• First time travelers will be considered depending on experience

• Minimum of three years experience preferred.
