Consumer Services Coordinator – Bilingual (Spanish) – Job #729
North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is a private, non‑profit agency contracted with the California Department of Developmental Services to provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NLACRC serves the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley and Antelope Valley.
Pay RangeBase pay: $26.33 – $37.18 per hour. Bilingual stipend: $69.24 bi‑weekly.
Position Summary- Develop, monitor, evaluate, and revise individual program plans.
- Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families.
- Document and complete forms and reports in accordance with regulations and NLACRC policies.
- Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
- Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, families, service providers, and advocates.
- Identify barriers to service delivery and implement culturally sensitive strategies.
- Perform officer‑of‑the‑day duties, assist co‑workers with special projects, provide case coverage, and provide emergency on‑call services when required.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field and two years of related experience; or a master’s degree may substitute experience.
Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency with MS Word and Outlook.
Essential RequirementsCommunity‑based position requiring home visits, community visits and office work. Comfortable working independently. Frequent telephone, virtual, and out‑of‑office meetings. Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation (or acceptable substitute).
