Child and Family Guidance Center (CFGC), established in 1962, is a leading provider of community mental health and social services in the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley. We are seeking motivated, qualified applicants for our post‑doctoral residency program. The post‑doctoral residency is a full‑year (September 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027), full‑time (40 hours per week) program. Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Conduct intakes, individual, group, and family therapy.
• Conduct psychological evaluations.
• Maintain community/professional contacts and prepare necessary documents to advance treatment progress.
• Participate in in‑service training, administrative and supervisory meetings as needed.
• Maintain clinical charts and complete all necessary administrative paperwork on time.
• Receive clinical supervision appropriate to level of experience.
• Work 40 hours per week Monday–Friday; two to three evenings per week and some on‑call responsibilities are required.
• Hybrid work option available.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• At least one year of specialized experience in child psychotherapy.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and use time effectively.
• Self‑starter who can work independently.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiastically committed to the overall well‑being of the department and the objectives of the Center.
