• Work with a Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Program Administrator, or Research Nurse to coordinate and implement study activities.
• Evaluate and abstract clinical research data from source documents.
• Ensure compliance with protocol and overall clinical research objectives.
• Complete Case Report Forms (CRFs).
• Enter clinical research data into Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems provided by sponsors.
• Provide supervised or direct patient contact for long‑term follow‑up patients.
• Assist with regulatory submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), including adverse event reporting and safety letters.
• Assist with clinical trial budgets and patient research billing.
• Schedule patients for research visits and procedures.
• Prepare, ship, and maintain study supplies and kits.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local agencies (e.g., FDA, local IRB).
• Maintain research practices in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in required training and education programs.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field preferred.

Experience

• 1‑year clinical research‑related experience preferred.
• Understanding of general clinical research objectives.

Physical Demands

• Able to perform moderate lifting.
• Able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
• Able to read papers and online documents.
• Capable of exercising physical ability to satisfactorily perform essential job functions.
