Join the Sterile Processing Tech II / Sterile Processing Staff / Full-time / Evenings role at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), a national leader in pediatric care and a Magnet teaching hospital.

3:00 pm – 11:30 pm with variable days, including rotating weekends.

The Sterile Processing Tech II, in conjunction with the Operating Room Instrument Technician, is responsible for the inspection, preparation, and sterilization of instruments and instrument sets utilized in the Main Operating Room. Loads and unloads sterilizers.

• Inspect and prepare instruments and instrument sets for the Main Operating Room.
• Load and unload sterilizers according to established protocols.
• Maintain sterile processing area in compliance with patient safety standards.

• 2+ years surgical instrument preparation experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current Central Service Technician Certification required; certification can be obtained within one year of employment with proof of 6 months working experience and completion of CS program and internship.
