About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and newborns.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist in the delivery process, ensuring safety and comfort for patients.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare teams to develop care plans.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief options effectively.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in California, with a focus on maternal-child health.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
