Overview
Homemaker/Caregiver position for an experienced and personable individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of clients. This role provides attentive and compassionate care to clients in their homes, focusing on comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with tasks around the home, including light housekeeping.
- Prepare, cook meals, and feedings.
- Provide clients with companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation.
- Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Assistance with transfers & ambulation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Enjoy having conversations with clients, playing games and other activities.
- Strong interest in elderly care and memory impairment disorders.
- Compassionate and caring about clients social/ emotional needs.
- Team player, great communicator.
- An understanding of what to do in an emergency.
- Willingness and ability to drive to clients home.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
