Pay:$42.31 – $45.67/hour
Schedule:Full-Time | 7:00am- 3:30pm, 7:30am - 4:00pm, or 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday | Hybrid
A mission-driven behavioral health and housing organization is seeking a full-timeLead Therapistto provide clinical oversight and direct support to a specialized team serving Veterans experiencing homelessness and serious mental illness.
In this leadership role, you'll combine administrative supervision, clinical coordination, and hands‑on service delivery across Los Angeles County. What You’ll Do Leadership & Team SupportProvide clinical guidance and oversight to a multidisciplinary housing and mental health team
Train, onboard, and mentor new staff in alignment with VA and community standards
Coordinate coverage for on‑call and program operations to ensure consistent client support
Act as liaison between staff and leadership to address clinical or operational needs
Program CoordinationMaintain census tracking, client documentation, and chart reviews to ensure program compliance
Oversee clinical documentation and co‑sign notes as required by licensing guidelines
Collaborate with the VA and community partners to ensure continuity of care
Monitor caseloads, coverage, and workflows to ensure program efficiency
Direct Client SupportManage a small caseload of Veterans and provide field‑based clinical support
Conduct assessments, service planning, and crisis intervention as needed
Provide outreach, intake, and coordination of care including transportation when appropriate
Support Veterans in navigating medical, behavioral health, housing, and benefits systems
Who You AreMaster’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
Registered or licensed in California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
At least 2 years of experience in clinical services and case management
Experience working with Veterans, homelessness, or severe mental illness preferred
Proficient in EHR systems and able to manage documentation requirements
Valid CA driver’s license and current insurance; ability to travel within Los Angeles County
Comfortable working in the field and navigating complex client situations
This is a hybrid, community‑based position requiring fieldwork, administrative time, and regular team collaboration. Daily tasks may involve home visits, working in non‑traditional settings, and navigating sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
