Purpose Statement /

Position Summary:

This position supports the clinical operations of our anesthesia providers. The technologist prepares and maintains anesthesia equipment and delivers high‑quality patient care, working cooperatively with the Lead Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesiologists during surgical procedures and non‑surgical sedations. Care is tailored to the age and developmental needs of each patient, with a commitment to CHLA’s family‑centered model of care.

• 2+ years as a Certified Anesthesia Technician with emphasis on clinical procedures, or graduation from an ASATT‑approved program with completion of required clinical components.

• Graduate of an ASATT‑approved program and high school degree or GED.
• ASATT certification as Anesthesia Technologist or Technician required within 1 year of hire, with ongoing competence and professional development.
