As a Hospital Laboratory Technician 1, you will provide support to the Anatomic Pathology Referral Lab Services unit. Primary duties include:
Responsibilities- Assist with processing of referral lab tissue send outs.
- Pull pathology slides and route to pathologists for block selection.
- Assist with the processing referral lab result reports, follow-up on pending result reports, and scan outside results into LIS and EMR.
- Track, package and ship pathology tissue samples to referral labs.
- Assist with referral lab invoice processing and submission of unit charges.
- Act as liaison between reference lab, ordering clinician and pathology department.
Salary Range: $27.71/hour - $36.60/hour
