Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs drug distribution duties, pre-packaging, maintains inventory in Pyxis medstations (filling and checking for outdates), IV and chemotherapy sterile compounding, record keeping (refrigerator temperature logs and hood cleaning), billing, housekeeping, and security functions in an inpatient practice area.

Schedule and SalaryVaried hours, including weekends and holidays.
Hourly salary range: $26.55 – $38.13, depending on experience and union representation.
Bargaining unit: AFSCME.
Qualifications- At least 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations.
- Knowledge of drug names, dosage forms, and medical terminology.
- Skill in preparing IV solutions aseptically.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with computer order entry and report generation.
- Effective communication skills with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to compound chemotherapy solutions following safety guidelines.
