ResponsibilitiesAs a Per Diem Breast Ultrasound Technologist at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center, you will assist in performing breast ultrasound exams and procedures primarily at the Breast Center. The incumbent is an intermediate level professional who performs a broad range of scans from basic to somewhat complex and may assist physicians in performing procedures as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area.
Education- High School Diploma or GED required
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification - Abdomen or OB/GYN issued by ARDMS required
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification - Breast issued by ARDMS required
- BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- A minimum of 3 years of Sonography experience in a clinical setting required
3+ years of clinical sonography experience, ability to perform a variety of breast ultrasound scans, proficiency in assisting with procedures, and demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.
Work EnvironmentDay shift (8‑hour), part‑time, non‑exempt.
Working title:
Per Diem Ultrasound Tech – Breast Services.
Base Pay: $64.50 – $65.49 per hour.
