Description
Join our team as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist and play a vital role in delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports exceptional patient care. In this advanced role, you will operate nuclear medicine equipment with expert proficiency, ensuring safe, precise, and efficient examinations.
- Conduct patient interviews, communicating clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages to explain procedures, provide reassurance, and promote a positive experience.
- Prepare, perform quality control, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceutical compounds.
- Handle, prepare, witness, and administer adjunctive medications under direct physician supervision.
- Perform patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, including computer processing and image enhancement.
Salary Range: $63.22/hour - $83.39/hour
Qualifications- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technology license issued by the Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch.
