Caregiver:
West Los Angeles 11 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday Family Ties Home Care has an opening for a client in West Los Angeles. She has dementia and is a fall risk. She lives alone, but her son is only minutes away and is helpful & involved with her care. She requires assistance with walking, diapers, toileting, showering, dressing, meal prep, and assistance with light house chores.
The pay rate is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour plus applicable overtime. Must have Caregiving experience, a Driver's license, and a Car.

Responsibilities:
- Following a pre-set care plan
- Standard ADLs (personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene assistance)
- Assist with medication reminders
- Monitor and report on client's well-being
- Light housekeeping, laundry, & other household daily chores as needed
- Grocery shopping & errands
- Cooking/meal preparation
- Communication with Family Ties HC management & family members/loved-ones regarding the client's daily status
- Daily notes
- Other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications:
- Current HCA or higher certification
- Caregiving experience of 1 year or similar experience
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow the pre-set care plan and medication schedule
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Ability to assist with client's mobility as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work the schedule as described
