We are hiring Respite Workers/Caretakers to join our team.
Hours: San Fernando Valley with day, evening, and weekends.
$800 Sign-On Bonus for Evening and Weekend Shifts*

About the RoleRespite workers provide short-term relief to families or caregivers by spending time with their loved ones in the home or community. This may include activities such as playing games, assisting with daily routines, preparing simple meals, or going on local outings. The company has another role available;
Behavioral Personal Assistant for those with behavior management experience that can be a better fit with a pay rate up to $25.00; depending on experience, level of education and certification.
- Provides respite services
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
- Maintaining summation notes
- Maintenance of client records in accordance with state/federal/regional center regulations
- This position does not perform any housekeeping duties, medical care such as giving medication or taking pulse check, etc. Some clients may need assistance with toileting or bathing.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor

- Engagement and interaction skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current TB Testing
- Background check upon hire
- Valid CA Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Proof of eligibility to work in United States
- High School Diploma/GED Preferred (not required)
- Full physical dexterity/agility to perform required movements (bending, kneeling, typing, etc.).
- Sufficient vision to carry out duties.
- Ability to lift and carry pediatric clients (5 to 50 lbs.).

Offering:
Competitive pay $18 - $22 an hour, dependent on experience, education, and certification.

Sign-On Bonus is paid after 90 days working with clients. Bonus will vary based on work experience, education, certification and meeting all job requirements.
