- Excellent English communication skills required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in export compliance within a freight forwarding or warehousing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of TSA regulations and CCSF requirements.
- Proven experience in obtaining and maintaining CCSF certification
- Strong understanding of export control regulations and relevant classifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with US government entities and internal staff
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex regulations and identifying areas of non-compliance.
DUTIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to achieve and maintain CCSF certification, adhering to TSA requirements for air cargo security.
- Ensure all export activities and procedures comply with US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and other applicable governmental regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments of export activities to identify non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
- Interface effectively with the TSA, US Customs and other government agencies regarding compliance inquiries and audits
- Develop and deliver training programs to internal teams on export compliance requirements and best practices.
- Manage export licensing applications and maintain meticulous records to demonstrate compliance.
- Stay abreast of changes in export regulations and update company policies and procedures as needed.
