* Align financial forecasts, multi-year planning, and capital allocation to CII’s North Star Dashboard metrics and three-year targets.
* Partner with Accounting and Compliance to align FP&A forecasts and financial plans with regulatory, audit, and funder requirements (e.g., Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), LA County contract rules, State of California funding requirements, and private grant obligations).
* Partner with Accounting and cross-functional leaders (e.g., HR, Programs, and Contracts) to ensure alignment between FP&A forecasts, planning assumptions, and official financial reporting.
* Partner with the CFO and Audit Committee to provide forward-looking financial insights that strengthen governance and oversight.
* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field required.
* 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or financial planning leadership.
* 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
* Experience operating in complex, multi-funder environments (e.g., nonprofit, healthcare, public sector, or government-funded organizations).
* Demonstrated experience leading enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial modeling processes.
* Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning expertise.
* Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to nonprofit or government-funded organizations, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), cost allocation principles, indirect cost strategies, and audit requirements (e.g., SEFA reporting).
* Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and business intelligence tools (e.g., ERP platforms such as Net Suite, HRIS systems such as Workday, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau).
* Experience presenting financial analysis to executive leadership and supporting Board-level presentations.
* Strong cross-functional partnership skills with operations, accounting, and program leadership.
* Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration (MBA), or related field.
* Experience in large, complex nonprofit or human services organizations.
* Experience partnering directly with a CFO or serving in a successor-track finance leadership role.
* Ability to travel locally across CII sites and attend Board and committee meetings as needed.
* Demonstrated discretion and ability to manage highly confidential financial and organizational information.
