Join a dynamic finance team as a Tax Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for a diverse portfolio of funds and entities. Responsibilities
  • Oversee comprehensive domestic and international tax compliance for the firm’s funds, including K-1 collection, FATCA reporting, and timely issuance of investor K-1s and other tax forms.
  • Collaborate with tax service providers to prepare accurate tax estimates and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
  • Act as the primary liaison for tax service providers, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collect and review tax withholding documentation for non-US investors, ensuring compliance with tax withholding on distributions.
  • Prepare financial statements and tax allocation schedules for holding companies, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure timely state and local tax payments, and manage non-US tax reporting in partnership with service providers.
  • Support the finance team with additional duties as required, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications Must-Have
  • CPA certification with 6-8 years of experience in partnership tax compliance.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining tax allocation waterfalls.
  • Familiarity with non-US funds, foreign investments, and foreign investor regulations.
  • High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with investments in pass-through entities.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and automation efficiencies.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on accuracy.
