Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure audit objectives are met.
- Assess financial and operational processes for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop audit plans and testing procedures based on risk assessments, policy updates, and regulatory changes.
- Lead audits related to system implementations, ensuring risks are identified and controls are functioning properly.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to management and prepare clear, well-documented reports.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in internal audit, financial audit, or a related finance role.
- Familiarity with audit standards such as GAAS and IIA, and experience with SOX compliance and COSO/COBIT frameworks.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like ACL or Access, and experience with ERP or audit software.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically for audit engagements.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior leadership.
- Experience supervising audit teams and reviewing work for quality and compliance.
- Ability to work independently across all phases of the audit process, from planning to reporting.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or CFE are preferred but not required.
