Overview

Operations Manager - Accounting Consultant (Hedge Fund & Single-Family Office). Hybrid Remote - West Los Angeles (Wilshire & Bundy).

Our client is a Los Angeles-based SEC-registered investment advisor (RIA) specializing in alternative investment portfolios. They serve wealth managers, family offices, foundations, corporations, institutions, and high-net-worth individuals. This role reports directly to the CFO.

• Manage accounts payable
• Prepare hedge fund investment and redemption forms
• Compile AML documentation for hedge funds
• Interface with clients and manage investor relations
• Gather K-1s and investment statements from fund portals
• Coordinate with tax preparers
• Handle accounting for the investment advisor
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with auditors
• Communicate with the fund administrator (Artex Fund Services)
• Perform weekly cash forecasting for the family office
• Support various financial projects as needed

• Bachelor s degree in accounting (strongly preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial services firm
• Proficiency in Excel and database software
• 10-key by touch skills preferred
• Experience with Quick Books (strongly desired)
• Familiarity with Backstop Solutions investment management software is a plus but not required

Our client provides a competitive compensation package, with an hourly rate equating to approximately $110K annually. The final salary will be determined based on skills and experience.
