Prominent, international law firm seeks a Senior Finance and Strategy Analyst
This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week in Downtown Los Angeles
The Senior Analyst plays a key role in delivering financial insight and analytical support across the organization. This position partners closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to respond to analytical requests, develop financial reporting, and support a wide range of strategic and operational initiatives. The role involves both independent work and collaboration on complex projects related to client data, performance metrics, and firm-wide financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational data using advanced analytical techniques, financial systems, and business intelligence tools to produce accurate and actionable insights
- Translate business questions into clear analytical approaches and deliver high-quality reports and analyses
- Partner with stakeholders to communicate findings through written summaries, presentations, and discussions, ensuring clarity around assumptions, methodologies, and results
- Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and long-term analytical initiatives across the organization
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and automate recurring reporting through the use of new tools or technologies
- Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies, data sources, and analytical procedures
- Handle sensitive and confidential financial and business information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated experience leading complex projects from planning through execution
- Ability to think critically and develop alternative approaches to achieve business objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in a professional services environment preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with frequent ad hoc requests and evolving priorities
Salary 110-130k base DOE plus bonus and excellent benefits
