Investment Management Associate Attorney

Overview

A Top Ranked National law firm with a fast-growing investment funds practice is seeking a mid- to senior-level associate attorney with 3+ years of experience to join a strategically important team focused on investment management and fund formation in their bustling LA Metro offices.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary platform that advises sophisticated fund sponsors across a wide range of alternative investment strategies. The practice is expanding rapidly and presents meaningful long-term growth for attorneys who want hands-on responsibility and client exposure.

The team advises sponsors and managers of:

• Private equity and private credit funds
• Hedge funds and real estate funds
• Hybrid and other alternative investment vehicles

There is also opportunity to gain experience with retail alternative products
, including regulated fund structures, for candidates interested in expanding their technical depth.

Attorneys in this role will:

• Work on fund formation and investment management matters
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate, tax, and regulatory disciplines
• Engage directly with fund sponsors and investment professionals
• Build long-term client relationships within a growing practice

• 3–6 years of experience in investment management and fund formation
• Experience advising private funds or alternative investment managers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• CA Bar required
