Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Private Equity Associate to join our investment team. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in evaluating new investments, conducting due diligence, executing transactions, and working closely with portfolio companies to drive growth and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Evaluation:
- Conduct industry and market research, analyze financial statements, build financial models, and support the due diligence process for potential acquisitions.
- Deal Execution:
- Assist in structuring transactions, preparing investment memoranda, coordinating with legal and financial advisors, and supporting the closing process.
- Monitor performance of portfolio companies, support strategic initiatives (organic growth, add-ons, integration), and collaborate with management teams to enhance value creation.
- Strategic Analysis:
- Stay informed on market trends and industry dynamics to identify opportunities aligned with the firm's vision
- Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior team members and contribute to refining investment theses and strategic plans for both new and existing investments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time investment banking experience at a top 20 investment bank ideally within industrials, business services or technology
- Undergraduate degree from an Ivy League institution (advanced degrees or MBA a plus but not required)
