Our client, a global hospitality investment firm, is looking for a Finance Manager who will play a critical role in managing and scaling the financial operations of a global hospitality investment firm. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner to leadership, focusing on financial accounting, operational finance, cash flow management, and investor support—not just tax compliance.

A dynamic, intellectually curious finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting and FP&A, capable of understanding the day‑to‑day mechanics of running an investment and asset management platform, is required. You will help leadership make smarter decisions around capital allocation, operating costs, headcount planning, and investor engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for the management company and investment entities
  • Ensure financial accuracy, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS as applicable)
  • Develop and improve financial reporting processes, systems, and controls as the company scales
  • Own cash flow modeling and forecasting for the management company and investment vehicle
  • Analyze revenue streams from asset management, acquisitions, and advisory activities to improve predictability and efficiency
  • Actively identify cost‑saving opportunities across the business and support expense optimization initiatives
  • Partner with leadership on headcount planning to ensure new hires are accretive and self‑funding
  • Support scenarios around payment timing, working capital management, and liquidity planning
  • Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term strategic planning
  • Provide leadership with ongoing financial insights to support decision‑making on growth initiatives and new investment
  • Support capital‑raising efforts, including preparing financial materials for investors
  • Assist in investor reporting and performance analysis
  • Respond to financial due diligence requests
  • Collaborate with investment and asset management teams to understand underlying performance drivers
  • Serve as the internal point of contact with external CPA and tax advisor
  • Coordinate information, schedules, and documentation required for tax filing
  • Review tax‑related deliverables and ask informed questions around structure and tax‑planning strategies
  • Ensure leadership is aware of tax implications when making strategic and operational decisions—without being responsible for filing the return
Qualifications
  • Background in audit, forensic accounting, FP&A, or transaction services (Big Four experience strongly preferred)
  • CPA designation required or strongly preferred
  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, private equity, or investment management is a plus
  • Strong financial accounting and reporting foundation with working tax knowledge
  • Experience analyzing and managing cash‑flow dynamics in an operating or investment platform
  • Self‑starter mentality with strong business acumen—someone who thinks like an owner, not a back‑office bookkeeper
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and external investors
  • Advanced financial accounting and analysis skills
  • Cash‑flow modeling and working capital management experience
  • Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting proficiency
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills (experience with BI tools is a plus)
  • Investor communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to connect financial data to operational impact
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities
