About the Role

This Vice President sits within the tax function of a global, publicly traded alternative investment platform. The position plays a key role in tax accounting, compliance, and complex technical matters across a multinational structure. Working closely with senior tax leadership, external advisors, and cross-functional partners, this role provides meaningful ownership over high-impact initiatives while helping scale processes to support continued growth.

Responsibilities Include

• Lead key aspects of quarterly and annual tax provision and reporting for a public company structure, including review of disclosures, SOX documentation, and audit support

• Oversee U.S. federal, state, and select international tax compliance processes, managing external advisors and reviewing complex filings and estimates

• Support advanced international tax initiatives, including transfer pricing, OECD-related requirements, and evolving global minimum tax frameworks

• Play a central role in tax matters related to corporate structure and transactions, including equity exchanges and related contractual tax arrangements

• Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and senior leadership to align on tax positions, reporting, and strategic initiatives

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess potential impacts to the organization

• Drive process improvement, scalability, and control enhancements across the tax function as the business continues to grow

Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of Tax Accounting experience

• Extensive experience with Tax Provision process

• Experience working with an Up-C structure preferred
