Chief Financial Officer

We are partnered with an established mid-sized professional services organization in Los Angeles that is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team.

This is a newly created role driven by continued growth and the need to further strengthen financial operations, reporting, and long-term strategic planning. The organization is stable, growing, and focused on modernizing its financial infrastructure.

The CFO will serve as a strategic and hands-on financial leader, responsible for guiding financial planning, improving operational efficiency, leading system modernization efforts, and supporting growth initiatives. This role requires both executive-level strategy and operational involvement.

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planning
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash flow, and treasury functions
• Drive ERP selection and implementation to modernize financial operations
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting
• Improve month-end close processes, collections, and cash management
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable industry regulations
• Support acquisitions, geographic expansion, and new service lines
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team
• Maintain strong internal controls and fraud prevention practices

• 10+ years in senior finance leadership (CFO, VP of Finance, Corporate Controller)
• Experience with in mid-sized organizations
• Proven success leading finance teams of 10+
• Hands-on leadership style with strong operational capability
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Professional services or project-based business experience preferred
• ERP and enterprise systems experience a plus
