We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Manager to join our Exempt Organization Tax Services team in one of our California offices!
Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Cohn Reznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a Cohn Reznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
YOUR TEAM.
This position will support our National Tax team, which in turn supports the firm's broader tax practice. The right candidate will have a growth mindset and look for ways to expand their knowledge within both the tax space associated with their specialized services and varying industries. They will also be eager to collaborate on thought leadership, webinars, and seminars while remaining results focused on assisting both internal and external clients in achieving their wide-ranging business goals.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Preparation and review of 990 and 990-PF tax returns
- Preparation and review of some 5500 tax returns
- Leading and managing a team of high-performing tax individuals
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting;
Master's in Tax is a plus - CPA, LLM or JD is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience
- Strong tax research skills
- Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills, as well as exceptional client service skills
- Proven competencewith MS Office and tax compliance and research software, including Pro System, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH Axcess and RIA

In California, the salary range for Tax Manager is $125,000 - $175,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
