We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join the Valencia, CA team. This role will carry out a full range of professional accounting duties, working independently with minimal guidance on complex issues. The analyst will apply advanced analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills to adapt policies, develop models, and provide actionable insights to improve business operations.
Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for manufacturing operations, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Monitor and compare standard costs versus actual costs, identifying variances and trends.
- Assist as needed with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Perform general accounting functions such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Track fixed assets, maintain depreciation calculation software, and coordinate capital expenditure requests.
- Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
- Prepare monthly use tax return and provide tax exemption certificates to vendors as required.
- Monitor labor charging errors and adjust as needed, researching causes to prevent future errors.
- Monitor time and attendance errors, PTO forms and prepare payroll reports.
- Participate in month‑end closing process.
- Produce reliable and accurate reports to support operations and communicate internal financial metrics.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Knowledge of Syteline ERP system required.
- Hands‑on experience with financial documents, i.e., P&L and Balance sheets.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels of staff within the organization.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance, or a related field. MBA a plus.
Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in FP&A or Manufacturing finance roles.
Computer SkillsProficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills a plus.
Salary: $76,600 - $114,000 plus bonus
