US Outbound Coordinator

DBS LA Office IBG Team covers Western MNC and FI customers with large Asian footprints in DBS six core markets servicing around 200 Economic Groups with Franchise Revenues of around S $300 million and has doubled its Franchise revenues in the past five years, With its vision to become a core bank for these Western MNC and FIG customer segments and propel IBG’s growth, DBS LA would like to focus on their outbound businesses beyond Singapore into other DBS core markets by expanding on the ground US coverage.

As US Outbound Coordinator the role will be responsible for developing coverage and meeting corporate finance/banking requirements of:

• US based WMNC and FI customers with large Asian footprints
• Asian subsidiaries of these WMNC and FIG customers

The role requires strong knowledge about various client profile of its target market comprising of:

• US WMNC and FI customers
• Regional Treasury/ Procurement / Sales Centers in Asia
• Knowledge of Asian banking markets

Based out of Los Angeles, this role will require working closely with DBS LA IBG and FIG RM’s and IBG Teams throughout our Asia network. This role would also require knowledge of EDB Singapore and Enterprise Singapore to pitch various incentives and schemes to WMNC Corporates for setting up a business in Singapore and invest in Singapore. As a coverage role, this role will lead the delivery of corporate and investment banking products and solutions to DBS LA’s WMNC corporate clients into India and rest of Asia.

This role would require working closely with DBS overseas branches in its key core markets of India, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Taiwan and other markets including Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Korea.

• Identify pertinent credit related issues, and work out viable financing solution for clients for their business in Asia.
• Drive and champion WMNC and FI coverage for with engagement encompassing customer stakeholders both their US head offices and their Asia Offices.
• Provide senior Asia outbound coverage for senior client stakeholders in US.
• Work closely with WMNC and FI RM’s to drive outbound Asia transaction origination and support its execution.
• Be able to engage key internal stakeholders comprising Industry and Country heads to regularly evaluate progress against agreed business targets and to ensure pipeline development and conversion.
• Be able to work in a cross functional team together with the respective Global Relationship Managers at DBS LA, Local relationship manager in other parts of India and Asia.
• Full understanding and adherence to the Bank’s Core Credit Policy and Target Market and Risk Assessment Criteria (“TMRAC”).

Minimum 10 years experience working in multi-national corporate environment.
