Financial Professional (Accelerated Path to Management Program)

At New York Life, we provide an Accelerated Path to Management Program for high‑potential individuals who are ready to build a career in financial services. You will start as a financial professional, learn our products, develop client relationships, and, after completing training, transition into a management role.

• Sales or managerial experience in another industry
• Previous experience running your own business
• Had an MBA or other equivalent degree
• Motivated to grow and succeed in a financial services career

Phase 1 – Firsthand experience as a financial professional: one year of on‑the‑job training, product knowledge, tools, and client service.

Phase 2 – Transition to Associate Partner: a specialized six‑month training program focused on leading a team and recruiting.

• Sell New York Life products (life insurance, annuities, long‑term care, disability, investment products)
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Meet performance and compliance requirements
• After phase 2, recruit, coach, and develop a team of financial professionals

As a financial professional, you will receive commission‑based income and non‑commission support. Against promotion to Associate Partner, you will receive a salary ranging from $60,000 to $150,000 (with regional adjustments), plus bonuses tied to team performance.
