Acquisitions Associate - Los Angeles | Generalist - Real Estate Private Equity

Tranham Partners is excited to be supporting a Tier One Private Equity platform based in Los Angeles as they look to expand their investments team with an acquisitions associate.

• 3-6 years' experience in commercial real estate equity investments (inc mezz & pref), with exposure to major asset classes.
• Excellent academics from an accredited institution.
• Highly proficient in Excel & Argus, with the ability to build and interpret financial and valuation models.
• Entrepreneurially minded, collaborative, team-oriented professional with the ability to work effectively across a dynamic & fast-moving organization.
• Strong analytic and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information to senior stakeholders and investors.

• Construct and manage sophisticated valuation models for prospective acquisitions.
• Spearhead the due diligence process, including market comps, historical performance, and physical site inspections.
• Actively participate in the negotiation of term sheets and closing documents with partners and lenders.
• Draft institutional‑quality investment memos and presentations for senior leadership.
• Assist in the strategic scaling of the equity platform through process optimization and data‑driven market research.
