TeamThe Federal Tax team specializes in tax consulting and compliance for pass‑through entities (partnerships, S‑Corps). Managers oversee day‑to‑day client service, coordinate specialized tax services, and maintain overall risk profile.
Responsibilities- Manage tax compliance for pass‑through entities, including estimates, extensions, and annual filings.
- Participate in tax planning for pass‑through clients and advise on tax implications of business objectives.
- Lead special projects in technical areas such as tax basis balance sheets, capital account maintenance, tax distribution calculations, and structuring opportunities.
- Manage client calls to understand critical areas and apply technical knowledge.
- Create concise, complete deliverables that address client needs.
- Communicate work plans, objectives, and timelines to multidisciplinary teams.
- Build client relationships and demonstrate working knowledge of client businesses.
- Supervise, develop, mentor, and motivate Associates and Senior Associates through on‑the‑job training, performance feedback, counseling, and fostering a team‑based atmosphere.
- Manage workload and deadlines for junior staff with a focus on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Encourage open expression of ideas and actively seek opportunities for diverse perspectives.
- Assist with business development by creating proposal materials and business development resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 4+ years’ experience with federal and state pass‑through entity taxation (S‑Corps, Partnerships).
- Experience with federal and state C‑Corp taxation, including income tax provisions.
- CPA.
- Prior proven experience leading and managing work streams and mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent verbal, written, research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Experience with GoSystems, One Source, and research software preferred.
- Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines.
- High motivation to learn and grow.
- Detail‑oriented and possess strong organizational skills.

Salary RangeSalary range: $100,000 – $140,000 annually, dependent on experience, education, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is available based on individual and firm performance.
