The PositionWe are seeking a Retail Banking Branch Manager for the greater Los Angeles, CA market. The successful candidate will manage branch activities, including teller operations, customer service, loan processing, collections, consumer lending, and personnel administration.
This role offers a salary of up to $75K, an excellent benefits package, and bonus eligibility.
Branch Manager responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all branch operations, ensuring safety and soundness.
- Conducting loan interviews, processing, recommending approval, and closing consumer loans within bank policies.
- Recruiting and selecting qualified staff to maintain high service standards.
- Providing backup support to personal bankers and tellers, including opening accounts, cashing checks, and handling loan payments.
- Training team members on policies, procedures, safety, security, and compliance.
- Interviewing customers to gather information and explain financial products such as savings accounts, loans, and securities.
- Cross-selling retail banking services to customers.
- Ensuring branch compliance with all regulations and laws.
- Participating in community activities to enhance market share and the bank’s community presence.

You bring the following skills and experience:
- BS or BA degree from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of experience in a financial institution, including a minimum of three years in supervisory roles.
- Deep knowledge of consumer and mortgage loan processes.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, with fluency in both languages.
- Proficiency in PC skills, especially Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
