Tax Manager

Overview

We’re a boutique, advisory-led accounting and tax firm working closely with founders, closely held businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. Our focus is thoughtful tax planning, strong execution, and long-term client relationships.

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant / Tax Manager who is comfortable owning work, managing client relationships, and operating with a high level of autonomy.

• Prepare and review federal and multi-state individual and business tax returns (S-Corps, partnerships, LLCs)
• Lead tax planning, projections, and client discussions
• Serve as the primary tax contact for assigned clients
• Manage deadlines and workflows during tax season
• Review work prepared by staff or contractors
• Coordinate with advisory / fractional CFO work where relevant
• Help improve internal processes and systems as the firm grows

• 5+ years of relevant tax experience
• Strong experience with pass-through entities and owner-managed businesses
• CPA required or actively pursuing
• Comfortable being client-facing and communicating clearly
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Experience working in a modern, cloud-based accounting environment
