Responsibilities
- Lead corporate finance activities across the studio’s film, television, gaming, animation, and live theatre divisions, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and process improvement; develop scalable frameworks aligning creative financing with corporate goals.
- Partner with executive leadership and the Board to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations that drive operational and investment decisions.
- Lead M&A and investment initiatives, including due diligence, pro forma modeling, and post-acquisition integration.
- Support investor relations and capital strategy, shaping the financial narrative for the company’s multi-platform growth story.
- Design and implement FP&A frameworks, systems, and tools that improve visibility, data integrity, and reporting efficiency.
- Build and maintain 3-statement models supporting scenario planning, greenlight analysis, and ROI tracking across content formats.
- Automate and refine reporting packages and KPIs that drive accountability across divisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production finance, operations, business affairs, and creative teams to align project performance with strategic objectives.
- Oversee acquisition integration, forecasting, and performance management to ensure consistency in reporting and systems.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering analytical rigor, curiosity, and creative partnership while balancing growth and corporate discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including corporate finance, FP&A, and M&A leadership.
- 10+ years of experience in Film, TV, or Gaming industry required.
- Proven experience leading acquisitions and integrations, including pro forma and 3 statement model development.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition, ultimates, and publishing economics in entertainment.
- Track record of implementing or leading FP&A system integrations or tool rollouts preferred.
- Advanced Excel user with exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Executive-level communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work onsite 3 to 4 days per week in West Hollywood.
