Congruence Capital is an investment firm based in Los Angeles managing a long/short equity strategy focused on small and mid-cap companies operating in various industrial supply chains. We take a fundamental, research-driven approach to investing, while also seeking to engage with portfolio companies on Impact Initiatives that may create value.

We are seeking an Investment Associate to join our team in a career-track role. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 6 years of relevant experience and a strong interest in applying fundamental research to identify compelling investment opportunities.

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies within the industrial and related sectors.
• Develop financial models, industry analyses, and valuation frameworks to support investment theses.
• Present investment ideas and updates to the portfolio manager and broader investment team.
• Monitor existing portfolio holdings and relevant market developments.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the firm’s investment process and research infrastructure.

• 2 - 6 years in buy-side or sell-side equity research, or other relevant experience.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in covering the industrial sector (preferred).
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
• Deep intellectual curiosity and a passion for investing.
• Ability to think independently and communicate investment ideas clearly and concisely.
• Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
