Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $90.00 per hour.

• Manage daily controllership functions, including overseeing the close process and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review financial statements while analyzing trends and fluctuations in operating results.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Oversee core accounting processes such as revenue recognition, payroll review, and compliance activities.
• Support operational and leadership teams by providing financial insights on projects, margins, and performance.

• Proven ability to step into a senior accounting role quickly and operate independently with minimal ramp‑up time.
• Strong technical accounting background with experience applying complex accounting standards.
• Hands‑on experience leading month‑end close and financial reporting cycles.
• Familiarity with professional services or project‑based business models and related financial oversight.
• Working knowledge of common accounting and systems used in growth‑stage organizations.

• CPA or similar professional credential.
• Background in public accounting, audit, or advisory services is highly desirable.
• Prior experience supporting businesses backed by institutional investors or private equity.
• Solid understanding of revenue accounting principles and long‑term customer arrangements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both financial and non‑financial stakeholders across the organization.
