Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and internal controls, ensuring alignment with GAAP and company objectives.
- Lead the month-end close process and review general ledger reconciliations and financial statements.
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and departmental reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to provide financial insights and support planning initiatives.
- Supervise accounting staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and workflow management.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
- Extensive experience managing financial reporting, audits, and budgeting processes.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop accounting teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- High attention to detail and analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Experience working with auditors, regulators, and external financial advisors.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
