Interim Director of Accounting

We have an immediate need for a Senior Accounting Consultant for our non-profit client in West Los Angeles. The role is onsite, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week with possible overtime. Only local applicants will be considered. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70 to $80 per hour.

Responsibilities: month/quarter/year end close; general ledger; financial statement preparation; bank/credit card reconciliations; cash management; assist with internal/external audits; financial reporting; budget/variance analysis; tax preparation duties; maintain financial controls; and oversight of accounts payable and payroll.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 10+ years applicable accounting experience
• Non-profit industry experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
