FP&A Lead​/Strategic Finance

We’re seeking a highly analytical, execution-focused FP&A Manager to join our lean, high-impact finance team  this role, you will own financial planning, reporting, and visibility across a rapidly scaling company operating in complex, capital-intensive environments. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes that enable fast, confident decisions by our leadership team and Board of Directors. This is not a “sit-back-and-report” role — you will build systems, models, and processes from the ground up.

We’re looking for someone who can dive deep, operate with incomplete information, and help shape the financial backbone of a company scaling quickly with increasing operational and reporting complexity.

• Own the company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Redesign, build, refine, and maintain detailed financial models, including:
  Long-term projections, Annual operating budgets, Budget vs. actual analysis, and Scenario & sensitivity modeling
• Manage monthly and quarterly performance reviews, variance analysis, and reporting for leadership
• Prepare and support monthly and quarterly reporting for:
  Executive leadership, Board of Directors, and Investors
• Develop, track, and maintain KPIs and dashboards used by leadership and the board
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, supply chain and other teams to track:
  Spend vs. plan, Headcount forecasts, Program and project budgets and Capital allocation decisions
• Actively support and drive Net Suite enhancements to improve data quality, structure, and reporting reliability
• Design and implement scalable FP&A tools, dashboards, and processes as the company grows
• Serve as a thought partner to leadership on strategic initiatives, trade studies, and business decisions
• Help lay the foundation for a scalable FP&A function as Any Signal continues to grow

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, or similar roles
• Experience in hardware, manufacturing, aerospace/defense, or high-growth startups strongly preferred
• Advanced financial modeling skills and strong command of Excel (or Google Sheets); experience with ERP and BI tools strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience working with Net Suite or similar ERP systems
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally, gather inputs, pressure-test assumptions, and drive clarity
• High level of ownership, urgency, and comfort operating in a fast-changing environment
• Ability to distill complex technical and financial information into clear, actionable insights for leadership

• Exposure to early-stage or scaling operational environments
• Experience improving financial systems, data quality, and reporting infrastructure
• Interest in working on in the space and defense sector on technically complex products and long-term strategic programs

$160,000 - $190,000 a year

Base salary: depends on experience. Equity:
