Responsibilities- Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up, asking questions and learning about financial needs and banking channel preferences.
- Engage clients across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide knowledgeable counsel with a digital-first mindset.
- Identify solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
- Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services.
- Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members to best serve clients.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with meeting financial needs.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience with operational excellence and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location five (5) days per week.
Preferred Skills/Experience- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
- Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in participating in sales campaigns/promotions
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
- Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital-first mindset
- Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
