Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Supervise accounting staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Review and approve journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, offering financial insights to support strategic decisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance and support audits.
- A minimum of 8+ years of accounting experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Navision is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for financial analysis.
- Background in food, manufacturing, or agricultural industries.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience managing international operations or multi-entity environments.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- CPA certification, multilingual abilities, and ERP implementation experience.
